- Ashtyn uses words to portray vivid scenes as she tells this enchanting reverse Cinderella story. However there are a few details that make the story a "fairy tale". For instance, the fastest mile every run was 343.13 minutes, and that was on an unencumbered track. There is absolutely no way Aiden could have run his dogs home from a secluded spot in the woods to the second largest estate in the county, gotten them settled then run into town in 5 minutes. That course would have been several miles with trees to dodge rocks to jump and ruts to avoid. Let's get him on the cross country Olympics Team!
- This is a charming retelling of Cinderella. I like the twist that the man was the servant. Quick fun read

- I love books that can take a well known story, in this case Cinderella, and reinvent it in a different and refreshing way. The twist is that there is no CinderELLA but rather a CinderEL, a young man who fell into hard times thanks to his wicked step father and step brothers. His future seems bleak from an observer’s viewpoint. However, he keeps a real positive attitude and is determined to show kindness even when being oppressed.
The Duke’s daughter was also a sweetheart in search for true love. She believes that is impossible to find due to the money hungry gentleman after her extremely large dowry. Aiden and Kate have a great meet-cute! Lots of good quotes from this book!
The story is sweet and fun, has several cute dogs in it, and a pair of beautiful shoes. Do you really need more reasons than these to read this book? - This is a short and sweet role reversal story between two people who meet unexpectedly and fall in love. Aiden lives with his not-so-nice stepfather and his two step brothers who treat him as a servant. They relocate to a new town after Aiden's childhood home is sold. He's hoping to make a fresh start and break away from his step-family. Katherine is a wealthy heiress and is not impressed with the fortune hunting society gentlemen who are seeking her hand. Bound by her loyalty to her father, does she have what it takes to stand up for her heart?
I received a free digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. - This was a cute story but I kept getting sidetracked wondering why there were no explanations for so many !eaps in the story line. The main character was cute downtrodden "Cinderfellow" the stepson of the marquess and worked as a servant for the family with no possessions but he managed to have two dogs,a pug and a pomeranian? Several leaps in time were also distracting. Could have been much better developed book instead of just a short story.
- I loved the role reversal in this story. It gave a new twist to the Cinderella story. I loved both main characters in this story. I started reading this story and did not put it down until I finished.
